I have tried starting this sentence eighty times without getting teary eyed and it’s just not happening. This wedding holds a very special place in my heart….these people hold a very special place in my heart. My sister, my HEART, my best friend got married. I was honored to stand up next to her (Chris acted as the head photographer while I performed my MOH duties) and the whole day was beautiful. Both Sarah and Joe have a very close knit family and between the two of them, hundreds of friends that might as well be family. The entire day, they were surrounded with people who had prayed for them, before they even met. If you know Sarah, you know how special she is. We all knew the man who would eventually win her heart was going to have to be very VERY special. Joe has exceeded my expectations and I had some pretty high standards for my little sister. So sit back, relax and enjoy some of my favorites from Sarah & Joe’s wedding – I will never forget this day as long as I live.
Sarah & Joe chose to spend some time together before the ceremony so they could enjoy the rest of the day together – I love this idea and we got to photograph their first few moments together. Joe was so nervous until he saw his bride and then all the nerves went away. Check out their faces….so happy. We went outside for some quick pictures of them – they nailed it, of course. The ceremony started with ALL FOURTEEN of Sarah & Joe’s nieces & nephews coming down the aisle and it. was. epic. And this is the part that everyone was waiting for…..especially Joe and I LOVED to see his face as Sarah walked down the aisle. A few detail pictures – Sarah chose the most gorgeous colors and every single details was meaningful and so….Sarah.First dance as husband and wife!Okay, these next few get me. Every. Time. My dad and Sarah have such a special, close relationship and these moments between them are almost too sweet to handle. My mom watching – isn’t she BEAUTIFUL?And they’re off! The day went by so fast – I wasn’t ready to see them go!Sarah & Joe – I love you both so much. What a pleasure and an honor it was to photograph your day AND stand with you as you promise your lives to God and each other. Love, love, love you.
