William & Bridgette made me love my job even more than I already do and I looooove my job.  I could work with couples like this every day of my life and die happy.:)  These two are gracious, loving, flexible and they trusted my judgement during their portraits, even though it was freezing cold!  Their families were incredible to work with as well.  William’s sister, Emily, is a fellow photographer – one who’s work I love and enjoy seeing.  It was an honor to know that she trusted Behind the Lens enough to recommend us to family.  Emily also does wedding videography – go check out her website!    She’s awesome!  Anyways, back to William & Bridgette….the love between them is so strong – I felt it all day, every time they looked at each other.  A very, very special love.  I was honored just to be able to witness it.  Check out some pictures of my time with them:Untitled-213245678973111274751376147715161718192021222324252728293079313235373848495051334143424445464752535455565758805981606182626364656667686970What a special day – thank you both for trusting me to capture it.

I love these two lovebirds!  I have so enjoyed getting to know them over the past year of wedding planning.  Sheila & I met over coffee and I just fell in love with her.  She and John are passionate, caring and have the best smiles (and John makes the BEST faces….I could write a blog post just about that.)  They had a beautiful wedding at Coppes Commons Event Center in Nappanee (my new favorite wedding venue!) and invited their friends and family to celebrate with them.  It was literally like a big family.  Lots of hugs all day long!  Check out Sheila & John’s wedding day!491011013141558596081Now this looks like a groom that’s excited to see his bride for the first time!1718192011121222324252627281123011331321143335Get it, John!52535455More than once during the day, I thought “How did we get this lucky to have such a BREATHTAKING bride to work with?!”36373839404849#bridesmaids #nailedit5042434446475164656667686911971721207374121The reception was decorated SO cute!  Check out some of the perfect touches:123571098118Can I just talk about the garden tea for a sec?  I loved it so much that I begged Sheila’s grandma for the recipe….come to find out, there really isn’t a recipe.  You can find garden tea at any greenhouse and some local shops have it.  I mean, it’s REALLY good.77899293757678798082838586879091949596979899100101102103104105At the end of the evening, we whisked them away to a different past of the building for a few shots to end the night.  So dreamy!106122107108123Sheila & John, I just adore you both.  You were a HUGE highlight in our wedding season and it just wouldn’t have been the same without you! I’d love to keep photographing milestones in your life – you know where to find me! :)  And John, I love your faces so much that I’m posting some bonus pictures below.  Enjoy!

She’s SO pretty!  I’ve always though so, even when she was a little girl.  And to spend time with her as a SENIOR reminded me of her inner beauty as well.  What a sweet, kind and beautiful soul she is.  She loves volleyball and ballet and is VERY good at both.  Take a look at some of my favorites from Elizabeth’s senior session:2111Why choose when you can have both?:)325244135141516617718198She makes evening light look even dreamier.202122239Thank you, Elizabeth!  You are so easy and fun to be around and made this session one of my favorites.  Happy Senior Year!:)

If I’m allowed to have favorite clients, they’d be up there.  These new grandparents found themselves in the best situation ever – both of their kids were due for their first babies DAYS apart.  That’s taking the excitement of being grandparents to a whole different level.  You’re about to scroll through some ridiculous cuteness, I’m just warning you.  I will not be held responsible for loss of breath, heart attacks, or outburst of delight – just prepare yourselves.:)2021222324392526272829303132343536403738As always, I left this session feeling like I was part of the family.  They even invited me to join them for a steak dinner afterwards!:)  Hope you guys like your pictures – thanks again for being the best clients a photographer could ask for!

Alyssa and I have known each other our entire lives.  She is a beautiful friend, wife and mother….and happens to be my cousin!  We recently reconnected (and found out we live 5 minutes away from each other!).  What a blessing to call her friend.  She and Scott have two boys who are both the cutest little stinkers.  I get such a kick out of them!  Check out a few pictures of my time with them:61728510411Mason.  So awesome.:)12313Silly boys!141516And last but not least….Scott, you missed the tongue memo. 😉17I love you guys!  Thanks for trusting me to do these for you – it was such a pleasure!
